Hello my name is Leala Taylor and I am honored to be the principal of Douglass Elementary School. I began my teaching career as a 2nd grade teacher here in USD 500.  I was a classroom teacher for nine years before moving into administration. I have been a director of a day treatment facility, an assistant principal at three other schools, prior to coming to Douglass. I have two children, LaKey and Miki and one grandson, Brandon. I truly enjoy serving the staff, scholars and families of Douglass
